Simple Circuit Training

This is the workout for  6/23/2010.

Simple yes but difficult…as it should be. Especially since we haven’t done a “simple” circuit the past few times. There are just so many ways to make training, exercise, conditioning, fitness (whatever you want to call it) interesting. Whatever you call it, it isn’t your typical gym routine!

Warm Up: Whoops! Forgot to do a warm up. Good thing nobody got hurt!

Circuit 1: 8 Exercises, 30 Seconds at each station for Maximum Reps and 2 cycles. The only rest is getting to the next station.

  1. Inverted Rows
  2. Tband Triceps Extension
  3. DB Curls
  4. DB Triceps Extension (DB French Curls)
  5. Frog Squats
  6. Bulgarian Split Squat
  7. Barbell Curls
  8. 1 Leg Wall Squats

Circuit 2: Again 8 Exercises, 30 Seconds at each station for Maximum Reps and 2 cycles. The only rest is getting to the next station.

  1. DB Incline Press
  2. Upright Rows
  3. Inverted Rows Underhand Grip
  4. On Back, Foot to Opposite Hand
  5. Ab Pullins on Slide Board
  6. Close Hand Pushups
  7. Cobra Pushups
  8. Squats Toes Up

Core/Abs:

  1. Crunches 50
  2. Alternate Hand to Foot 25 Each Side
  3. Crunch/Leg Raise Combo 25
  4. Side Crunches 25 Each Side
  5. Leg Raise with Pause on the Floor 25
