This is the workout for 9/25/2010.

It may look a bit similar to some things we’ve done the past week but as always there are some differences.

Who really can go into a gym and do the same things all the time?


Actually that’s a bit of a lie. Apparently the majority of people that go to gyms don’t mind doing the same boring routines.

Well I get bored easy. So gotta change things up every time. I could use the term “muscle confusion” but that is essentially a bullshit marketing word. Your muscles don’t have a brain. They don’t get confused. They do what your brain tells them to do!

And my brain tells my body to work out to the max!

First: Squat/Push up/Core complex: 4 cycles. 10 reps each station. Each cycle had a different ab exercise included. The only rest was getting to the next station.

  1. Squat with ball overhead
  2. Push Ups On Ball
  3. Crunches/Leg Raises/Sliders/Knees to Elbows
  4. Squat on Bosu
  5. Push ups on Bosu down
  6. Crunches/Leg Raises/Sliders/Knees to Elbows
  7. Squat on Airex pads
  8. Push ups on Airex pads
  9. Crunches/Leg Raises/Sliders/Knees to Elbows
  10. Squat jumps
  11. Jumping push ups
  12. Crunches/Leg Raises/Sliders/Knees to Elbows
  13. Squat body weight
  14. Regular push ups
  15. Crunches/Leg Raises/Sliders/Knees to Elbows

That may be enough for some people. And it could have been for us but we still had time left. And remember I still like hammerin’ on for at least an hour. Today was no different.

Second: 5 stations for 5 Cycles…this got a bit exhausting.

  1. Ball Overhead Throw 10
  2. 15 Burpees
  3. 15 Push ups
  4. 15 Jump squats
  5. 15 Squats

Third: Core/Abs. We really didn’t have to do this since we got a lot of core/ab stuff in already….but…what did I say before? We were still under an hour!

  1. Sliding Tables 15
  2. Crunches 25
  3. Sliding Tables 15
  4. Leg Raises 25
  5. Sliding Tables 15
  6. One Leg Crunches 25 Each side
  7. Sliding Tables 15
