This is the workout for 11-20-2010.

Saturday mornings are always a bit tougher to get going. This was no different. Everyone has to persevere and move forward. So we did.

Just a moderate amount of soreness from the last workout so let’s see what we can do to ourselves today.

Music: Clapton. You really don’t  need a first name do you?

Warm Up: We didn’t do one. Just ramped up the following circuit.

Exercise Circuit: As we do most of the time…30 seconds at each station for a maximum amount of reps and for 3 cycles. We haven’t done a circuit like this in awhile. Makes it harder that way.

  1. DB Incline Press
  2. Sideways Run on Step
  3. Push Up on Step
  4. Bosu Squats
  5. Weighted Jump Rope (2 pounder)
  6. Vertimax Laterals
  7. Inverted Rows
  8. Ab Pullins on Slideboard

Next: A superset for lower and upper body. The reps scheme is 20 then 19 then 18…10. You get the picture.

  1. Single leg squats
  2. Incline Chair Pushups

Core/Abs Stuff: Decided to make it a little different.

We put some gold Theraband around the ankles and held tension on the band throughout the core/ab workout.

  1. Crunches 50
  2. Top portion of the Leg Raises 50
  3. Side Crunches 25 Each side
  4. Bottom portion of the Leg Raises 50
  5. Side Plank position hip ups 10. Yeah…only 10. Try 5 if you want. It’s tough!
