Not exactly a great post title but it’s all I got!

This is the workout for 12-8-2010.

Everyone is a little sore from the last exercise session. Means we are on the right track.

We haven’t slammed some balls in awhile so we started with that and continued our body breaking onslaught.

First: Medicine Ball Drills, 8 balls

  1. Standing Slams – 3 Slams per ball
  2. Jumping Slams – 3 Slams per ball
  3. Chest Pass/Jump Slams – 3 Slams per ball
  4. Knee to Ball/Sprawl/Jump Slams – 3 Slams per ball
  5. Push Ups on Ball/Jump/Slam – 3 Push Ups per ball w/one slam

Second: Push Up Circuit: 10 Reps Each

  1. Incline Wide
  2. Incline Narrow
  3. Incline Regular
  4. Offset Hands X 2
  5. Extended Arms
  6. Inverted Hands Wide
  7. Inverted Hands Regular
  8. Offset Hands One Inverted x 2
  9. One Arm
  10. Decline Wide
  11. Decline Regular
  12. Decline Close

Third: Monster Walk Variations

  1. Regular 2 x 25 Yards
  2. Forward Hops 2 x 25 Yards
  3. Backward Hops 2 x 25 Yards
  4. Twists 2 x 25 Yards

Fourth:

  1. High Kicks 25 Yards
  2. Cobra Push Up Inchworms 25 Yards

Core Stuff: A bit of a twist on the planks. We were “driving” our feet or arms into the floor. Really engages the abs/core!

  1. Reverse Crunches 50 Reps
  2. Hip Ups 50 Reps
  3. Reverse Crunches/Hip Ups 50 Reps
  4. Plank Drive Toes Down 30 Sec
  5. Plank Drive Arms Down 30 Sec
  6. Plank Drive Left Foot Down 30 Sec
  7. Plank Drive Right Foot Down 30 Sec
  8. Plank Drive Left Arm Down 30 Sec
  9. Plank Drive Right Arm Down 30 Sec
  10. Plank Drive Opposite Arm/Foot Down 30 Sec
  11. Plank Drive Same Side Arm/Foot Down 30 Sec
