4th workout of the year, 1/11/2011.

More crazy stuff.

Sure we’ve done Inchworms with push ups before.

In the beginning it was hard enough to be part of the workout.

They have evolved into a warm up. Yep they got easier. As they got easier we added more push ups to increase the intensity.

So what did we do today? Found a way to make them harder…again.

Music: 5 Finger Death Punch. T-shirt: BCS National Championships. (By the way…Auburn won!)

First: Inchworms for 100 yards with one push up at the lay out.

Yep 100 yards.

Last spring we took the local indoor football team through a little conditioning work.

We did 50 yards worth of Inchworms. If we get invited back you can bet they’ll be looking at 100 -200 yards.

Second: Heck why not more inchworms?

This time 75 yards with one push up at the lay out.

It doesn’t get easier.

Third: One more time.

50 yards with one push up at the lay out.

Fourth: Exercise Circuit, 9 stations, 30 seconds at each station for Max reps. 2 cycles

  1. DB Press
  2. Inverted Rows
  3. Barbell Curls
  4. Vertimax Laterals
  5. Plate Front Raises
  6. Bosu Squats
  7. Ab Pullins on slideboard with a push up
  8. Lateral Step Drill
  9. Medicine Ball Leg Raises

Core/Abs: The core got hit a lot with the inchworms. But hey we had some more time.

  1. Crunches: as many as possible during the song being played.
  2. Leg Raises: as many as possible during the next song.
