Gotta get warmed up.

Not that it was cold but hell it is a Saturday morning and the bones were just a bit stiff!

Got some soreness from the last workout but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Today we were going to do something other than what I had planned (are you following this). Sometimes things just evolve.

We did some stuff we’ve never done before…but that does happen fairly often.

We started with balls and we continued with balls. We’ve done it before but not like this!

First: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes

Leg Raises Ball Between Ankles 5 Reps Pass to Right

Seated Leg Raises Ball Between Ankles 5 Reps Pass to Right

Lemon Squeezers Ball Between Ankles 5 Reps Pass to Right

Second: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes

Ball Roll Ups with 3 Push Ups

You get in a push up position with your feet on the medicine ball. You then roll the ball on the floor with your feet then back down again and do a push up.

Sounds simple? It’s not!

This puts a bit of stress on the old core as well as balance. A nice little exercise to do every once and a while. Try it…you won’t like it.

Third: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes

Ball Bounce Push Up 3 Reps

You hold onto the medicine ball while doing a push up on it. Then you push your body off the floor while holding onto the ball.

Nice variation of a ball push up and a plyo push up.

Fourth: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes

Ball Burpee/Push Up/Jump/Ball Slam

3 On Each Ball.

Fifth: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes

Rock Bottom Squat Jumps with Balls 5 Reps Each Ball

The goal is to do a butt to heel squat (or close) then jump up with the ball overhead and down again.

Some people hit the goal better than others…but hell we were tired!

Sixth: 10 Balls of various weights/sizes (of course!)

We still had some time on the clock. I like to hit about an hour give or take 5 to 15 minutes.
