123rd workout of the year, 12/14/2011.

Just decided to do an all core/ab workout today.

Why? Who knows?

Effective? Yes.

Fun? No!

First: Object Abs/Core

  1. Seated Leg Raise Object Overhead 10
  2. Seated Leg Raise Object Overhead in 1 Hand 10
  3. Lemon Squeezers Object Overhead 10
  4. Leg Raises Object in Outstretched Arms 10
  5. Sit Up Object Behind Head to Floor Between Knees 5
  6. Sit Up Object Side to Side 5
  7. Object to Each Foot 5 Each Side
  8. Object Crunches One Leg Straight, One Bent, Both Off Floor 5 Each Side

Next: Stationary Core/Abs

2 Cycles

Plank 1 minute

Push Up Position 1 minute

Side Plank 30 Sec Each Side

And Then: “Tabata” Style Crunches

20 sec max reps, 10 sec break, 8 Times

Finally: Combo Static/Dynamic Core/Abs

Seated Leg Raises

Minute 1 – 1 every 5 seconds

Minute 2 – 1 every 10 seconds

Minute 3 – 1 every 15 seconds

Minute 4 – 1 every 20 seconds

Minute 5 – 1 every 15 seconds

Minute 6 – 1 every 10 seconds

Minute 7 – 1 every 5 seconds
